What Is Energeia? The Story, the Vision, and Why I Built It

Introduction

Energeia started off as a side hobby, as a learning opportunity for myself and a combination of one of my favorite things…Energy Drinks! Honestly I love energy drinks, I wish I knew how many I drank in total in my life. And then that gave me an idea, to build an app that would allow me to easily do that. Which I was able to do but as I continue to try to learn more about building it and getting more information, I realized there really wasn’t an easy way to get infomration about energy drinks. And that is how I came up with the idea of Energeia.

What “Energeia” Actually Means

The word Energeia comes from ancient Greek.
It means:

• being in motion
• being fully alive
• potential turned into action

To me, that fit perfectly.

We don’t drink energy drinks because we’re tired —
we drink them because we want to do more, be more, or feel more ready for whatever the day throws at us.

Energeia isn’t just “energy.”
It’s that moment when your intentions turn into action.

And that became the vision for the app and the website.
