Red Bull Winter Edition Pistachio & Berries Expected in the U.S. in Late October
Red Bull’s next U.S. Winter Edition is Pistachio & Berries, expected in late October. Red Bull has not posted an official on-sale date.
A 250 ml can lists 80 mg caffeine. See how long that may last.

Red Bull’s next Winter Edition is Pistachio & Berries. For the United States, the working expectation is a late-October arrival. Red Bull has confirmed the flavor is coming here, and it has not published an official U.S. on-sale date.
The can is a light green seasonal design, sold as The Winter Edition. A sugar-free version is part of the launch as well.
What does Pistachio & Berries taste like?
Red Bull describes it as the taste of pistachio and berries, balanced by caramel with nutty and creamy undertones. That wording appears on the brand’s Winter Edition product page and was quoted by AL.com on September 15, 2026.
The profile is dessert-leaning: caramel, with nutty and creamy notes, alongside the pistachio and berries. UK trade coverage from FoodBev Media says Red Bull has also said the drink does not contain nuts, even though the flavor is pistachio.
Energeia has not tasted this can and is not confirming how strong the pistachio note is.
How much caffeine and sugar are in it?
On Red Bull’s product page for the Winter Edition, a 250 ml can — about 8.4 ounces — is listed at 80 milligrams of caffeine and 27 grams of sugar. That caffeine figure matches a standard 8.4-ounce Red Bull.
If you want a rough picture of how long 80 mg may stick around, you can run it through Energeia’s caffeine half-life calculator.
Those numbers are the published 250 ml figures. A separate U.S. nutrition panel was not in the sources reviewed for this article, so calorie, sugar, and caffeine totals for a 12-ounce U.S. can stay out of it. A sugar-free Winter Edition is listed on Red Bull’s site in other markets, without a published U.S. panel.
When will it reach the United States?
Red Bull’s own U.S. Q&A says shoppers will “have to wait a bit longer,” then adds that the Winter Edition is coming. It does not name a month, a retailer, or a can size for this country.
Outside that page, the reported window is fall, and the dates do not agree. AL.com says Snackolator expects the cans in October, while Headlines Over Sidelines expects November.
Late October is the earlier end of that range, and it is the timing Energeia is using for U.S. readers until Red Bull names a day. No verified U.S. price or store list was included in the sources reviewed for this article.
The flavor is already on a calendar elsewhere. FoodBev Media reports a UK rollout from September 28, 2026, with 473 ml cans in Tesco from September 18. That is a different market from the U.S. release.
What happened to last year’s Winter Edition?
Last winter’s Fuji Apple & Ginger did not stay seasonal. Red Bull brought it back in the United States on August 31, 2026, as a permanent Apple Edition. Read the Apple Edition article or open Apple Edition in the database. Pistachio & Berries is the new limited Winter Edition, not a replacement for that year-round apple flavor.
For canned Red Bull already in the Energeia database, see Red Bull.
Energeia take
Pistachio is an unusual place for an energy drink to go, which is the interesting part of this drop. The U.S. question is timing. The flavor is real, it is already moving in the UK, and Red Bull’s U.S. site says it is on the way. Late October is the best current read of when cans may show up here. Red Bull still has to say so.
